This was filmed in a handheld camera, video diary way. It followed two high school teens as they prepared for ‘zero day’ (I’m sure you can guess what that means). During this film, I hoped that they wouldn’t go through with it as I became incredibly attached to one of the characters. It was definitely one of the more realistic high school massacre films that we watched, and I thought it was a great idea to have the final 15 or so minutes as CCTV in the school. You can definitely see why people thought it was actual footage of Columbine. I still keep thinking about this film, mostly because I can’t understand why the characters were so calm in the days, weeks and months leading up to Zero Day. They showed very little emotion about what they planned to do, which made it sadder when they went through with their plan.
